I’ve always found digital edition numbering slightly contrived. Digital editions are potentially limitless but they are controlled for the art market. I thought Anise Gallery concept of the 1:1 was brilliant and a finger up to the system that needs to be questioned.
Also when you define limitless “open” editions, AI gets rather frustrated and says you must not use 1:(infinity) so it was even more of a pleasure using it.
