Inspired by a photo by Bernd and Hilla Becher whom she admires, Barnes was drawn to the image of an industrial structure on the edge of collapse. 
 
Barnes reacts to the photograph itself and the feeling of another time, creating a print that has the feel of an old image or perhaps a damaged film.
